From our beloved Spring Show to monthly meetings and garden trips, there's always something growing in our calendar.
We meet on the first Wednesday of each month (except January, February and July) at the Torbay Community Hall, 35 Watea Road, Torbay. Meetings begin at 1:00pm.
Torbay Garden Club 73rd Birthday Lunch
This year we will be celebrating our 73rd birthday for the Garden Club. Instead of a monthly meeting, we will be holding a luncheon at the Bays Club in Browns Bay, starting at midday on Wednesday 1st July at 12pm. We would love to see everyone there, as it's a great opportunity to catch up with everyone and celebrate our club birthday.
We're looking forward to another great event, so we'd like to extend this invitation to any other family members or friends of TGC club members that might like to join us - the more the merrier!
Spring Show 2026
The Torbay Garden Club has held a Spring Show for many years. It's a great opportunity to show off plants or flowers from your garden and enjoy the gardening wonders on show. Bring your friends and family along!
Entry: Open to the public, $2 door entry
- Raffle and trading table with great bargains for your garden
- Children's sections for preschool kids
- Entries: Jar of flowers (6-12 stems) and Fruit/Vegetable creature
- Winners receive cash prizes as per the schedule
- Entries must be staged from 9:30am to 10:40am on the day
- No fees for entering exhibits
Next Monthly Meeting
Regular club meetings with guest speakers, club show, raffle, trading table, and morning tea. Visitors always welcome — free entry.
